This Privacy Policy explains how Top Shelf Bookstore LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through topshelfbookstore.com, topshelfbookbar.com, the mobile bookstore, events, orders, subscriptions, rewards, marketing, forms, reviews, and customer support.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

Identifiers and contact details, such as name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number, account login information, and social-media handle.
Transaction information, including products, order history, subscriptions, gift cards, rewards activity, pickup and delivery choices, refunds, and customer-service communications.
Personalization information, including reading preferences, genres, authors, tropes, spice preferences, content to avoid, age range for a child’s book selected by an adult, gift messages, and previously read titles.
Customer content, including reviews, comments, photographs, form submissions, event requests, author submissions, vendor submissions, and social-media content shared with or tagging Top Shelf.
Marketing preferences and records of consent, opt-out, and communication interactions.

Information collected automatically

Device, browser, IP address, approximate location, operating system, referral source, page views, clicks, timestamps, and Site interactions.
Cookie, pixel, analytics, advertising, and similar technology information from Wix Analytics, Google Analytics, and Google Ads, subject to consent settings and applicable law.
Account, security, fraud-prevention, and log information.

Payment information

Payments may be processed by Wix and its payment services, Square, Affirm, Cash App, and other displayed providers. These providers collect and process payment and fraud-prevention information under their own policies. Top Shelf generally receives transaction confirmation and limited payment details rather than complete payment-card numbers.

2. Why we use information

Process payments, fulfill, ship, deliver, hold, or arrange pickup for orders.
Create and manage accounts, subscriptions, rewards, gift cards, preorders, and special orders.
Personalize Blind Dates with a Book and other curated products.
Respond to support, return, damage, privacy, accessibility, author, vendor, and event requests.
Operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Sites and customer experience.
Send transactional communications and, with required consent, marketing emails or texts.
Display and promote reviews or customer content under the Customer Content Terms.
Detect fraud, enforce policies, keep records, satisfy tax and legal obligations, and protect rights and safety.

3. How we disclose information

Top Shelf does not knowingly sell personal information for money. We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including to:

Website, hosting, account, marketing, analytics, and advertising providers, including Wix and Google.
Payment and financing providers, including Wix payment services, Square, Affirm, Cash App, and related processors.
Shipping and fulfillment providers, including Shippo, USPS, and UPS.
Professional advisers, insurers, accountants, technology providers, and contractors subject to appropriate obligations.
Government agencies, courts, carriers, fraud-prevention partners, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, investigate claims, or protect people, property, and rights.
A successor or prospective successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer, subject to applicable confidentiality and privacy requirements.

Advertising disclosure. Google Ads and related technologies may constitute “targeted advertising” or “sharing” under some privacy laws even when Top Shelf does not receive money for personal information. Top Shelf will honor applicable consent and opt-out rights and will not represent that no sharing occurs if advertising settings indicate otherwise.

4. Cookies and advertising choices

The Sites use necessary cookies and may use optional analytics and advertising technologies. Where required, optional technologies will be disabled until the visitor makes a choice through the cookie banner. Visitors may reject or manage optional cookies without losing access to basic shopping functions, although some personalized or analytical features may be limited.

See the Cookie Policy and the “Cookie Settings” link for additional information. Browser controls and advertising-platform settings may provide additional choices.

5. Email and text marketing

Marketing emails are sent only as permitted by applicable law and include an unsubscribe method. Marketing text messages require the consent described at signup. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts or use another reasonable opt-out method. Transactional messages may still be sent when necessary to complete an order or respond to a request.

6. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including order fulfillment, tax and accounting, fraud prevention, warranty and dispute resolution, consent records, subscriptions, legal compliance, and enforcement. Retention periods differ by record type. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal and operational requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and rely on service providers for significant portions of website, payment, and account security. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Customers should use unique passwords and promptly report suspected account misuse.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and applicable exemptions, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling; appeal a denied request; or complain about our privacy practices.

Submit a privacy request to topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify identity before acting. Authorized agents must provide proof of authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful exception.

Texas residents may submit an appeal by replying to the decision email with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” If an appeal is denied, the response will explain how to contact the Texas Attorney General.

9. Canadian customers

For personal information subject to Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act or substantially similar provincial law, Top Shelf is accountable for personal information under its control; identifies the purposes of collection; seeks meaningful consent where required; limits collection, use, disclosure, and retention; uses appropriate safeguards; supports access and correction; and provides a process for questions and complaints.

Information may be processed in the United States, where courts, law enforcement, or regulators may access it under U.S. law. Canadian customers may contact the Privacy Officer at topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com to request access or correction, withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual restrictions, or raise a complaint.

10. Children’s privacy

The Sites are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. Top Shelf does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 submitted personal information without legally sufficient parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com.

11. Customer content and publicity

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, testimonial, tag, or other content, Top Shelf may use it as described in the Reviews and Customer Content Terms. Public content may be visible to others. Do not include sensitive personal information or information about another person without permission.

12. Third-party sites

Bookshop.org, Libro.fm, social-media platforms, payment providers, and other linked services control their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy prospectively. Material changes will be communicated as required. Questions, complaints, requests, or appeals may be directed to the Privacy Officer, Top Shelf Bookstore LLC, at topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com. Top Shelf is located in Lake Jackson, Texas 77566.

Advertising

Help measure campaigns, limit repetition, and support advertising through tools such as Google Ads.

Preferences

Remember choices and improve convenience where enabled.

Your choices

When required, optional analytics, advertising, and preference technologies will not activate until you consent. The banner provides options to Accept, Reject, or Manage Preferences. You can change your selection later through the “Cookie Settings” link in the website footer.

You may also use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent checkout, account, or security features from working.

Third parties

Shipping, Pickup and Local Delivery Policy

Processing

Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within three to five business days. Preorders, personalized products, subscriptions, special orders, bulk orders, and high-volume periods may require additional time. Transit time begins after the carrier accepts the package.

Destinations and carriers

We ship throughout the United States and Canada using USPS, UPS, and available services selected through Shippo. Rates are calculated according to destination, package size, weight, and available service. Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other destination charges for Canadian orders are the customer’s responsibility unless checkout expressly states otherwise.

Tracking

Tracking information is provided after shipment. Carrier scans and estimated delivery dates are not guarantees.

Local pickup

Customers may collect eligible online orders at scheduled markets and events or arrange another approved pickup by email or social media. We hold pickup orders for up to three scheduled events. After that period, we may request a shipping address and payment of postage before sending the order.

Local delivery

Delivery is available within 15 miles of Lake Jackson for a disclosed fee based on distance. Deliveries generally occur Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Choose delivery at checkout when available or contact us to arrange it.

Address and delivery responsibility

Customers must provide and verify a complete, accurate address and a reasonably safe place to receive the package. Contact us within 24 hours if an address is incorrect. We cannot guarantee correction after fulfillment begins. Additional charges may apply to reship a package returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address.

Delays

We will provide the promised shipment timing when one is stated and maintain a reasonable basis for that timing. If we cannot ship within the promised time—or within 30 days when no time is stated—we will request consent to a revised date when required or issue a prompt refund. Customers may cancel rather than agree to an indefinite delay.

Missing packages

If tracking shows delivery but the package cannot be found, check the delivery area and household, then submit a carrier claim. Send the carrier’s response and order number to topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com. We will cooperate with the carrier and determine the appropriate remedy based on the investigation and applicable law.

Unshipped orders

If Top Shelf cannot ship ordered merchandise and the customer does not consent to a delay, Top Shelf will refund the full amount paid for the unshipped merchandise, including applicable shipping, handling, insurance, or other required charges. A refund for merchandise never shipped will be returned as money to the original payment method, not solely as store credit.

Risk of loss

Risk-of-loss provisions do not eliminate Top Shelf’s obligations for non-delivery, damaged goods, carrier claims, or other nonwaivable consumer rights. Contact us promptly so we can investigate and assist.

Return, Refund and Exchange Policy

Eligible returns

Eligible items may be returned within 10 days after delivery. Products must be unused, unread where applicable, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags, packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase.

Return authorization

Before mailing any return, email topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com with the order number, item, reason, and requested remedy. Do not mail a return until authorization and return instructions are provided. Unauthorized returns may be refused. The return address is provided only after approval.

Refund or store credit

For an approved ordinary return, the customer may choose a refund to the original payment method or store credit. Refund timing may depend on inspection and the payment provider.

Return shipping

Customers pay return shipping for ordinary preference-based returns. Top Shelf pays or reimburses reasonable return shipping when the delivered item is damaged, defective, materially misdescribed, or incorrect. Use trackable shipping; Top Shelf is not responsible for a return not received.

Original shipping

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable for ordinary returns. They are refunded where required for an order that was not shipped or when the package or item arrived damaged, defective, materially misdescribed, or incorrect.

Final-sale restrictions do not remove any remedy required by law for products that are not shipped, are incorrect, arrive damaged or defective, or are materially different from the description.

Damage or incorrect items

Report damage, defects, or an incorrect item within three days after delivery by emailing topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com. Include the order number and clear photographs of the item, damage, outer package, shipping label, and internal packing where relevant. Keep all materials until the claim is resolved.

We will explain any carrier-claim steps and arrange an appropriate replacement, refund, or other remedy. Failure to report within three days may make carrier investigation more difficult but does not eliminate rights that cannot legally be waived.

Event purchases

Eligible market or event purchases may be returned by mail under this policy. Proof of purchase may be required. The customer pays ordinary return postage, and final-sale restrictions continue to apply.

Subscription and Automatic-Renewal Terms

These terms apply to Top Shelf Bookstore’s customizable monthly book subscriptions. They supplement the general Terms and Conditions.

Subscription contents and price

The customer selects an available genre and customizes the number or type of bookish extras. The price displayed at checkout depends on those selections. Current genre options may include indie contemporary romance, dark romance, romantasy, and mystery/thriller.

Automatic renewal and billing

The subscription automatically renews each month until canceled. The payment method on file is charged on the first day of each month at the then-disclosed recurring price, plus applicable taxes or charges. Boxes generally ship within the first two weeks of the month.

Consent

Before purchase, the customer must affirmatively agree to these terms through an unchecked checkbox. Consent to recurring charges must be separate, informed, and obtained before billing information is submitted.

Cancellation or modification

To cancel or modify the next monthly box, email topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com before 5:00 p.m. Central Time on the last calendar day of the month. Include the account email and subscription details. A cancellation confirmation will be sent by email.

Required operational improvement. Because subscriptions are sold online, Top Shelf should add a simple online cancellation method—preferably a “Cancel Subscription” control in the customer account or a dedicated cancellation form—in addition to email. Until that is technically available, cancellation emails must be promptly honored, monitored, and retained.

Refunds

Subscription charges are nonrefundable once processed, except where required by law or when Top Shelf cannot fulfill the paid box. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not reverse a charge already processed after the stated deadline.

Price or material changes

Top Shelf may change future subscription offerings, but will clearly disclose material changes. A price increase or other material recurring-term change will take effect only after advance notice and any consent required by law. Customers may cancel before the change takes effect.

Failed payments

If payment fails, we may retry through the processor, request an updated payment method, pause fulfillment, or cancel the subscription. We will not ship an unpaid box.

Required checkout checkbox

Recurring-charge consent — place directly beside an unchecked checkbox. I understand that this is an automatically renewing monthly subscription. I authorize Top Shelf Bookstore LLC to charge the payment method I provide on the first day of each month for the subscription price shown at checkout, plus applicable tax, until I cancel. My box will be customized according to my selections and is expected to ship within the first two weeks of each month. To avoid the next charge, I must cancel by emailing topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com before 5:00 p.m. Central Time on the last calendar day of the month. Subscription charges are nonrefundable once processed except where required by law. I have reviewed and agree to the Subscription and Automatic-Renewal Terms.

Short product-page disclosure

AUTO-RENEWAL: This subscription renews monthly and is charged on the first day of each month until canceled. Price varies according to your selected customization. Gift Card and Loyalty Rewards Terms

Digital gift cards

Top Shelf digital gift cards may be used for eligible purchases online and at Top Shelf mobile-store events where the redemption system is available. Gift cards do not expire and carry no inactivity, maintenance, or service fees.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. They may not be used to purchase another gift card unless expressly permitted. Gift cards are final sale, but this does not limit legally required remedies for a card not delivered or loaded correctly.

Treat gift-card codes like cash. Contact topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com promptly about a lost, stolen, or misdirected digital card. Replacement may require proof of purchase and confirmation that the balance has not been redeemed.

Loyalty rewards

Members earn one point for each eligible dollar spent online or at in-person events. Every 100 points earns a $5 promotional reward.

Eligible product purchases and subscription payments earn points. Taxes, shipping charges, and gift-card purchases do not earn points. Points never expire under the current program.

Rewards and points have no real-world cash value, are not property, cannot be transferred between customers, and cannot be redeemed for cash or gift cards. Rewards cannot be combined with BOGO offers, special coupon codes, or other promotions unless a promotion expressly allows it.

Tiers

The program includes Chapter One, Plot Twist, and Happily Ever After tiers. Tier benefits are listed on the current Loyalty page. Once earned, tier status is permanent under the current program.

Corrections and abuse

Top Shelf may correct points credited in error and may suspend an account for fraud, duplicate accounts, manipulated transactions, abusive returns, or other misuse. We will not remove properly earned rewards arbitrarily.

Program changes

Top Shelf may modify or end the rewards program prospectively after reasonable notice. Changes will not convert rewards into cash or retroactively invalidate properly earned benefits without a legitimate reason and legally sufficient notice.

Blind Date with a Book Terms

How selection works

A Blind Date with a Book is a wrapped surprise book selected according to the customer’s format, genre, and personalization information. Top Shelf generally chooses lesser-known books with fewer than 10,000 reviews on Goodreads. Goodreads is not affiliated with or responsible for this product.

Available adult genres include fantasy, romantasy, romance, dark romance, science fiction, dystopian fiction, and mystery/thriller. Customers may choose available hardcover or paperback options and describe preferred authors, tropes, spice level, themes, and content to avoid.

Adult package

One wrapped, brand-new surprise book, except when the customer expressly chooses the bargain-book option

Colors, patterns, flavors, brands, wrapping, stickers, and accessory designs vary with availability. Material substitutions will be reasonably comparable and will not change the selected book format without consent.

Bargain books

A bargain-book selection is unread but may have minor cosmetic blemishes, marks, remainder indicators, shelf wear, or similar imperfections. Selecting this option means accepting disclosed cosmetic imperfections.

Children’s package

An adult may purchase a children’s Blind Date based on the child’s age range and genre. The title is available to the parent or guardian upon request. The package includes a surprise book, drink option, stickers, fun pen, bookmark, and a varying surprise item such as bath bubbles or coloring sheets.

Duplicates and personal taste

Customers should list owned and previously read books to reduce duplication. Top Shelf cannot guarantee that a recipient does not already own the selection or that every book will match individual taste. These considerations are part of the surprise format.

Gifts and custom selections

Customers may provide a recipient’s preferences, request a personalized gift message, or ask that an in-stock title be wrapped as a custom Blind Date. Custom requests depend on availability.

Final sale

Blind Dates are final sale because they are curated, wrapped, and frequently personalized. This restriction does not apply if Top Shelf sends an incorrect format, fails to ship the item, or the product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the description.

Bulk orders

Approved bulk orders for book clubs, teachers, or other groups may receive 10% off. Approval must be obtained before purchase. Timing, quantity, personalization, budget, and pickup or shipping terms must be agreed in writing.

Consumables and skincare

Tea, drinks, under-eye pads, bath items, and similar products remain individually packaged with manufacturer labeling. Customers and parents or guardians are responsible for reading ingredients, warnings, age recommendations, and instructions and for performing an appropriate patch test. Do not use a product if allergic or sensitive to an ingredient. Top Shelf does not manufacture these items and does not provide medical, dermatological, nutritional, or allergy advice.

Preorder and Special-Order Policy

Preorders

Preorder products are identified on the product page and can be found using the preorder filter. Release dates, cover art, sprayed edges, signatures, bonus content, and publisher specifications may change. Publisher or distributor dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed.

If an order contains preorder and in-stock items, shipment timing depends on the checkout option and fulfillment setup. The product page or checkout should state whether items ship together or separately and whether separate postage applies.

Cancellations

Request a preorder cancellation within 24 hours of purchase. After Top Shelf commits funds, orders inventory, begins personalization, or the title enters fulfillment, cancellation may be unavailable except where required by law.

Allocation and cancellation by supplier

Publisher allocations, damage, cancellation, or supply shortages may prevent fulfillment. If Top Shelf cannot fulfill the preorder and the customer does not accept an offered alternative or delay, Top Shelf will refund the amount paid for the unavailable item and required associated charges.

Special orders

Customers may request an unlisted title by email, website form, or social media. Special orders require availability confirmation and payment. Special-order merchandise is final sale except where it is not shipped, is incorrect, arrives damaged or defective, or is materially misdescribed.

Reviews and Customer Consent Terms

Your ownership and permission

You retain ownership of original reviews, comments, photographs, videos, testimonials, tags, and other content you submit. By submitting content directly to Top Shelf, posting it publicly while tagging Top Shelf, or giving Top Shelf permission to repost it, you grant Top Shelf a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, publish, display, distribute, and use that content for website, social-media, email, advertising, and other marketing connected with Top Shelf.

This license continues for materials already created or published, but you may request that Top Shelf stop future use of your content by emailing topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com. We will reasonably honor the request, although removal from previously printed materials, archived posts, or third-party resharing may not always be possible.

Your promises

You promise that you own or have permission to submit the content; it does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights; any people shown have consented where required; and the content is truthful and based on genuine experience.

Moderation

We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, obscene, malicious, privacy-invasive, spam, unrelated, or otherwise violates these Terms. We will not suppress a genuine negative review merely because it is unfavorable.

Endorsement disclosure

If you received a free product, discount, reward, giveaway entry, or other benefit connected with a review or post, you must clearly disclose that relationship in the content.

Emails and SMS Marketing Terms

By subscribing to marketing email, you request promotional messages from Top Shelf. Emails will identify Top Shelf, use accurate sender and subject information, include a working unsubscribe method, and provide legally required contact information. Unsubscribe requests will be honored within the period required by law. Transactional emails may continue when needed for orders, accounts, privacy, or legal notices.

SMS

By affirmatively opting in, you agree to receive recurring promotional text messages from Top Shelf Bookstore LLC at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help, or email topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Top Shelf will keep reasonable records of consent and opt-out. A request to stop marketing texts will be honored in any reasonable manner required by law. Service or order messages may be sent separately when requested or necessary.

Canadian recipients

Commercial electronic messages sent to Canadian recipients require legally sufficient consent, identification and contact information, and a simple unsubscribe method. Top Shelf will retain consent records and process unsubscribe requests promptly.

Website

Mobile bookstore

The interior of the bookstore trailer is not wheelchair accessible. We place merchandise on exterior shelves and will bring available products outside, provide product information, assist with browsing, or offer another reasonable method of service for customers with mobility needs.

Service animals

Pets are not permitted inside the mobile bookstore. Service animals accompanying a person with a disability are handled in accordance with applicable law. Host venues may control surrounding areas.

Top Shelf sells products manufactured by third parties, including tea, drinks, skincare, bath products, candles, apparel, drinkware, Kindle accessories, and 3D-printed decorations. Manufacturer labels, instructions, warnings, ingredients, age guidance, and care directions control product use.

Review all labels and ingredients before use or consumption.
Do not use or consume a product if you have a known or suspected allergy, sensitivity, contraindication, or concern.
Perform an appropriate patch test for skincare, bath, adhesive, or topical products.
Parents and guardians must determine whether a product is appropriate for a child and supervise use.

Independent Author and Vendor Submission Terms

Independent authors

Top Shelf supports independent authors and purchases approved titles at wholesale. Top Shelf does not currently accept author books on consignment.

Authors must submit through https://forms.gle/UvFR1GMkyLZN86dd7. Submission does not guarantee review, acceptance, purchase quantity, restock, placement, promotion, event participation, or a response by a particular date.

No generative AI

Top Shelf does not accept works that used generative artificial intelligence in any part of their creation. By submitting, an author represents that the manuscript, cover, illustrations, narration, and other creative components comply with this requirement and do not infringe third-party rights.

Rights and accuracy

Submitters represent that they have authority to offer the work and that all metadata, pricing, rights, content, and wholesale information are accurate. Top Shelf may reject or discontinue a title for audience fit, quality, legal risk, misrepresentation, supply, conduct, or business reasons.

Local makers

Top Shelf welcomes inquiries from 3D-printing businesses, apparel makers, sticker and paper-goods businesses, artists, and other bookish creators. Product review does not guarantee an order, shelf space, exclusivity, or promotion.

Future shelf rentals

Future shelf-rental interest may be submitted at https://forms.gle/NC22zLtukBhgQj4h8. Rentals are not currently available and are expected only after a physical store opens. Spaces are anticipated to be limited and considered on a first-come, first-served basis subject to product fit, availability, contract terms, and final approval.

Submitted materials

Submitters retain ownership of their materials but grant Top Shelf permission to review, internally copy, and evaluate them and, if approved, use authorized product images, descriptions, author or maker names, and supplied promotional assets to list and market the products. Confidential information should not be submitted unless a separate written confidentiality agreement exists.

Events, Book Club and Mobile Store Terms

Schedules and locations

Current events appear on the website Events page and are shared on social media. A monthly schedule is generally posted at the beginning of each month and pinned on social media, with weekly reminders. Weather, host decisions, safety, and operational conditions may require changes or cancellation.

Mood Readers Anonymous

Mood Readers Anonymous is a free adults-only book club for people age 18 and older. It generally meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at a rotating community location. The usual format is craft and mingling from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by discussion and a book swap from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

General registration is not required. Craft participation requires advance purchase of a craft ticket because supplies and space are limited. Children may not attend because discussions can include adult books and mature subject matter.

Event conduct

Attendees must follow venue rules and behave safely and respectfully. Harassment, threats, discrimination, violence, illegal activity, intentional disruption, and damage are prohibited. Top Shelf or the host may remove a person for safety or material rule violations without a refund where permitted.

Tickets and activities

Ticket, craft, workshop, author-event, and other activity terms displayed at purchase control. If Top Shelf cancels a paid activity, Top Shelf will provide the legally appropriate refund or stated rescheduling option. Host-controlled event admission may be governed by the host’s policy.

Book swaps

Participants are responsible for the books they choose to contribute or take. Top Shelf does not guarantee condition, content, authenticity, cleanliness, or suitability of books exchanged directly between participants.

Event invitations

Businesses, libraries, schools, community members, organizers, festivals, and markets may invite the mobile bookstore by emailing topshelfbooksbar@gmail.com or messaging social media. At least two weeks’ notice is required; one month is preferred. Invitations do not guarantee availability.
